2.   Take time to walk through the character qualifications for deacons in Acts 6:3 and 1 Timothy 3:8-11.  What are the similarities to the qualifications for the office of elder?  What are the differences?

3.   Do the character qualifications for deacons appear less stringent than elders?  Explain your answer.

4.   Do any of the character qualifications stand out to you in particular?

5.   Why is it important for a deacon to have a godly wife if married?

6.   What exactly is a deacon?

7.   With a good understand of the deaconate in mind, can you explain why Baptist churches who operate exclusively with a deacon board are in error?

8.   Can you summarize the call of deacons?

9.   Please take time to pray for the current leadership at Christ Fellowship.
