Pastor Marcus started his ministry career serving as the middle school intern at Bethany Baptist Church from 2010-2012 in Salem, Oregon. At Christ Fellowship he oversees the Ministry Action Teams (MAT's), leads Call to Worship, teaches membership classes, is responsible for assimilating new attenders into the overall family of the church, and provides support for the elder team.
His desire in ministry is to encourage and equip each believer to thoroughly enjoy and pursue Christ. Surfacing new gifts and intentionally positioning individuals to contribute to the overall health of the Church is another aspect that thrills Pastor Marcus' heart.
His hobbies include playing basketball, hiking/backpacking, going to the park with his family, wrestling with his kids, soaking in a good book or movie, and drinking a great cup of coffee.
