1. Can you think of a time when you were very thirsty? Why were you thirsty? How did you quench your thirst?
2. Why did God create people with spiritual thirst?
3. Why do people settle for substitutes to quench their spiritual thirst? Have you ever you substitutes to quench your spiritual thirst? What does the Bible call those substitutes?
4. Why do you think Jesus went out of his way to see the Samaritan women? Where were the disciples? Why do you think they left?
5. How does Jesus respond to sinners like the Samaritan woman? How are you like the Samaritan woman?
6. Describe the hope that Jesus offers the Samaritan woman?
7. How does Jesus address the Samaritan woman’s sin?
8. Where should spiritually thirsty people turn? How does God call us to worship him?
