1.   What is unity?  Where have you experienced unity?  What kind of memories do you have about being in a family, business, or church that was unified?

2.   Why does God place a premium on unity?

3.   How word pictures does David use to describe unity in Psalm 133?

4.   Exactly what is unity?  Where does it emerge in Scripture?

5.   Is it possible for people to be unified but still disagree?  What are some examples?  When would it be impossible to agree with someone, which would ultimately compromise unity?

6.   Where does unity come from?  Why does it appear to be so elusive in the church?

7.   What should Christ-followers be united around?

8.   Discuss the seven deterrents to unity.  Have you had a "front seat" to any of these deterrents?  What lessons did you learn?
