1. Why do so many people fail to recognize Christ's right to rule?

2. Discuss the four components of Christ's kingly reign:

a. What are the implications of a King who has been installed?

b. What is the unique inheritance of the King? Why does this matter? How does it help shape your
worldview?

c. What gives the King the right to make the final judgment call on all matters?

3. What is your current attitude about Christ's right to rule? What would repentance look like for you?

4. The psalmist notes three critical responses to the Kingly authority of Christ, namely, serving Christ,
submitting to Christ, and finding your satisfaction in Christ.

a. Where are you serving in the local church?Are you happy with your faithfulness when it comes to serving Christ?

b. Where do you need to reaffirm your commitment to submit to Christ?

c. Are you truly satisfied in Christ? What does this say about your faith?

5. Are you responding reverently to the authority of Christ the King?

6. What are the practical consequences of living in the safety zone.
